Business Development (BDC) Representatives - Appointment Coordinator - Toyota of Massapequa

Toyota of Massapequa, a flagship store of the Atlantic Auto Group is currently looking to add customer service appointment coordinators to our Business Development Center. This is a great career opportunity for applicants with automotive BDC experience.

Responsibilities for our BDC positions include:
Responding to and following up all customer Internet inquiries via email.
Making follow-up calls to customers.
Interacting with customers as well as with all dealership departments.
This position includes a base salary plus an aggressive commission plan with bonuses.
Automotive BDC experience is required.
Candidates must be reliable and must report to work every day on time.
We want friendly upbeat people who like talking on the phone and helping people find answers to customer's questions about our extensive line of products.
Ability to address and answer customer requests via phone and e-mail skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-task.
Ability to follow instructions to perform tasks
Ability to encourage customers to schedule appointments.
Excellent written and oral bi-lingual communication skills a plus.
Determination to effectively follow-up with customers.
Dependable
Basic knowledge of computers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages all required paperwork and records and prepares documentation (forms, reports, etc.) when needed
Provides timely and accurate reports as required
Greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
Handles customer complaints or escalates when necessary
Attends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required
Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures
Performs other duties as assigned
Must be able to work some evenings
Must be able to work some Saturdays & Sundays

RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains accurate sales documentation
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, financing options, and promotions
Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
Helps educate/train new staff members
Performs other duties as assigned
Helps customer with vehicle selection and promotes model options and features, value-add products and services.

QUALIFICATIONS
Previous sales experience a plus (any industry)
Professional appearance and demeanor
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, co-workers, management, and others
Must be a "people person" but still know how to control the conversation
Must have an excellent attendance record and a commitment to being on time
Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check
Basic computer and internet skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
